Prior to enjoying one of Cozy’s carefully prepared dishes, remember the myth which stemmed from Mt. Olympus. Zeus claimed that Aphrodite’s overwhelming beaty was nourished by Cozy’s famous soups, Hercules’ incredible strenghth by Cozy’s mouth-watering hamburgers and Athen’s cunning with and sternness by never eating the same dish every day. But “who is Cozy?” a curious mortal asked. Zeus refused to wholeheartedly reflect on the mortal’s feeble question, rather vanished, spilling the following message: “It’s someone who’s spirit will live forever, bringing joy to the lips of people as they sample its delectable creation.”
If you want to eat like the Gods, head to Cozy’s which is open 24 hours a day to satisfy your hunger whenever it hits. Their varried menu offers everything from soups and salads to eggs and burgers. Everyone will find something to get excited about on the menu, and Cozy’s guarantees that you’ll leave feeling happy and fulfilled.

it's hit or miss-- i've had omelettes i've loved from there and those that have been overcooked and arrived cold. but their steak fries rule no matter what!

Quite good, a better than average diner. They have very good hamburgers, and the matzo ball soup is the best I've had in the Village (as their name implies, they specialize in Soup and Burgers). I also like their grilled cheese and challah french toast. Delivery is almost always very quick, and very good.

Pretty good, but nothing amazing. Burger is thick and juicy. Potato skins seemed a little small and flavorless (not that much bacon or cheese), but still good. Fast delivery to the East Village

Always good food and fast delivery. Then again, I live very close.

I ordered a Belgian waffle with strawberries and fresh squeezed OJ. The strawberries were fresh, but the waffle was disgustingly soggy... pretty unappetizing. Also, the orange juice definitely didn't taste like it was freshly squeezed. Disappointing meal.

You can have excellent takeout or terrible takeout, mainly based on what you order. I only order certain things: any of the soups (sans croutons), any of the salads, the BLT, the meatloaf, the milkshakes, the spinach pie. I really dislike the burgers here...way too big and overcoooked, the grilled cheese's via delivery always turn soggy, and the fries don't do well on delivery either. Stick to the good things, and you'll be happy, especially when they show up at 4:30am within 15 minutes when it's 10? and snowing out!

The strawberry milkshake is not award winning. It was the worst milkshake I've ever had.

I ordered a french onion soup and a grilled cheese sandwich and it took them an hour to deliver it! The sandwich is ok but nothing special... the soup is awful. And it was all a mess when it arrived. Seriously disappointing.

The food is sub-par at best, portions are meger, and the prices are outrageous! $8.00 for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich... seriously??? any diner in the area offers better food at more reasonable prices. and by the way, in spite of the name, their burgers and their soups suck!

Terrible - forgot food, forgot drinks - when the eggs came they were dry and burnt and so were the homefries. How do you screw up eggs? Come on. This place stinks.
